Getting Started: Step-by-Step with Trezor.io/Start®

1. Unbox Your Trezor: Ensure the packaging is intact with holographic seals untouched. Do not use if seals are broken.
2. Visit trezor.io/start: Open a secure browser window and navigate to the official setup page.
3. Download Trezor Suite: Choose the version for your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux). Trezor Suite is the official desktop wallet manager.
4. Connect Your Device: Plug in the Trezor via USB. Trezor Suite will detect the device and guide you through initialization.
5. Install Firmware: If this is a new device, you will be prompted to install the latest firmware. Only install when prompted via official Suite.
6. Create a New Wallet: Generate a new seed phrase (also called recovery phrase). Write it down securely offline.
7. Confirm Your Recovery Phrase: You will be asked to verify words randomly from the phrase to confirm accuracy.
8. Set a PIN: Create a strong PIN code to prevent unauthorized access to your device.
9. Access Dashboard: Once initialized, you can now send, receive, manage, and monitor your crypto portfolio securely via Trezor Suite.
